4. Usage of Google Tools
a) Usage of Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain view, CA 94043, USA.
Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files which are stored on your computer and which enable us to analyze your usage of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your usage of this website is usually transferred to a server of Google in the USA and stored there. If the IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area.
Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On our behalf, Google will use this information to evaluate your usage of the web site in order to compile reports on the site activities and to provide us with further services linked to web page usage and Internet usage.
The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You may refuse the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser; however please note that in this case you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. Moreover, you can prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) and Google from processing this data by downloading and installing the browser add-on available under the following link (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de).
We would like to point out that the code "gat._anonymizelp();" has been added to Google Analytics on this website in order to guarantee an anonymous collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking).
You can also prevent Google Analytics from capturing data by clicking on the link below. An opt-out cookie will then be set, which prevents the further collection of your data when you visit this website. This approach is particularly recommended when accessing our site via mobile devices.
We support the use of the above analysis tool under article 6 section l lit. f) GDPR: the processing is carried out to analyze the usage behavior and is therefore required to safeguard our legitimate interests.
b) Google Adwords and conversion measurement
We use the services of Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, ("Google") on the basis of our legitimate interests (that is interest in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our online offer according to article 6 section (1) lit. f) GDPR). Google is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and provides a guarantee to comply with European Data Protection Law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&status=Active). We use the online marketing instrument Google "AdWords" in order to place advertisements onto the Google advertising network (for instance in search results, in videos, on websites etc.) so that you can be presented to users who have a probable interest in the ads. This allows us to display more targeted ads for and within our online offer in order to present users with ads corresponding only to their potential interests. For example, if a user is presented with ads for products in which he has been interested in other online offers, this is referred to as "remarketing". For these purposes, when accessing our and other websites on which the Google advertising network is active, Google executes an internal code directly through Google and it will become so-called (re)marketing tags (invisible graphics or code, also referred to as "Web beacons") embedded in the web page. With their help, an individual cookie is stored on the user's device, that is a small file (instead of cookies, comparable technologies may also be used). In this file information is stored about the websites the user has visited, the content he/she is interested in and the offers the user has clicked on, as well as technical information on the browser and operating system, referring websites, time of visit and other information on the usage concerning the online offer. We also receive an individual "conversion cookie". The information obtained with the help of cookies is used by Google to create conversion statistics for us. However, we only get to know the anonymous total number of users who clicked on our ad and who were forwarded to a page provided with a conversion tracking tag. However, we will not receive any information that personally identifies users. Users' data is processed under a pseudonym as part of the Google advertising network. For example, Google does not store and process the user's name or e-mail address, but processes the relevant data in a cookie-related manner within the pseudonym user profiles. That is, from Google's perspective, the ads are not managed and displayed for a specifically identified person, but for the cookie holder, regardless of who is this cookie holder. This does not apply if a user expressly allowed Google to process the data without this pseudonymization. The information collected via the users is transmitted to Google and stored on Google's servers in the US. For more information on Google's data usage, setting and objection options, please refer to Google's Data Protection Policy (https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads) as well as to the settings for displaying advertisements by Google (https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated).

f) Right to complain
